About me and my therapy practice
At different points in our lives we might feel lost and unsure what to do next. We might feel anxious or sad, perhaps stuck in ways of being that are affecting our relationships, work or study. Therapy can help us understand ourselves better and heal from past pain and disappointments. This can help us to find contentment, direction, and self-acceptance.
I am creative, compassionate and curious. I offer a warm, safe, non-judgemental space in which to explore what is happening for you. Together we will focus on your emotions and ways of thinking to help you work through your individual experiences. This can help a deeper personal understanding to emerge that can support you to make changes in your life.
As an Integrative Therapist I draw on a wide range of theories and styles to support you to have a tailored approach that matches who you are and what you are bringing to therapy. This might mean focusing on what is happening for you in the present time and thinking together about how you might achieve the changes that you are looking for. It might mean exploring your past experiences so that you can come to a better understanding of how they impact you in your life today and how you might respond differently.
Working in Queens Park, NW6 and Kensal Rise, W10 I provide a safe confidential space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviour.
Alongside my private practice I am a Psychodynamic Counsellor at the Maya Centre, offering therapy for women on low incomes, and at the Woman’s Trust, I offer person-centred initial sessions for women who have experienced domestic abuse.
I offer both short and long term work. There is a minimum of six sessions.
Each session is 50 minutes long.
My first session
Therapy is personal and can be experienced differently by each of us. If you are feeling unsure whether it will be right for you, I offer a short, free initial session for us to both see if we might work well together.
After our initial consultation we will work together to find a time that works best for you.
