About me and my therapy practice
I believe the counselling relationship is very special. It provides a space that's yours where you can explore and express your inner thoughts and feelings in confidence and safety. It's a place you can obtain a different perspective and increase your self awareness. By becoming more aware, you increase your choices, thus providing more opportunity to make change. It was my own journey that brought me to train as a therapist and I highly value this working relationship.
Whilst I have trained in several models/theories of counselling. we will apply what best suits you.
I have worked with organisations including Hertfordshire County Council, NHS, Place2be and Young Concern Trust. I am an affiliate therapist providing services to BUPA, Aviva, AXA, Workplace Options, Health Assured, Bodycare & Victim Support.

About me and my therapy practice
My training is integrative and I support most therapeutic approaches.
Practice description
We can have an initial chat followed by an assessment which will provide the opportunity to get to know each other a little, discuss requirements, get a feel for the relationship and decide if we can work together. If so, we'll discuss and agree a contract.
I aim to provide a warm, encouraging and safe environment where you feel comfortable enough to discuss anything you would like to, knowing you will be supported. I hope there will be plenty of opportunity for gaining new insights and growth.
My first session
The first session is usually taken up discussing requirements and how we might work together. If we decide we will, then we'll progress to making a contract. If we can't complete this in our first session, it may roll into the second.
