About me and my therapy practice
Hello, all are welcome. Anxiety, stress, depression and anger can creep up on us or appear quite suddenly. Sometimes life just gets too hard and we cannot cope. You may not even know why you feel the way you do, even so, talking with someone impartial can really help. I believe that mental health is no different to physical health in that systems can become unbalanced and give us problems. Support from a Counsellor can help to rebalance your mind. You may feel unsure but I encourage you to come and meet me, then see how you feel.
I am friendly and broad-minded. My style is Integrative so we can discuss your individual needs and tailor my support accordingly - I have lots of skills we can choose from. I am an Acupuncturist too and this can help with mood, pain and sleep. I am also a chartered Physiotherapist which gives me a particular understanding of pain and its consequences.
This could be your first step toward feeling better and learning how to manage whatever you are going through. I am happy to support you as long as you need me but it can be encouraging to know that significant improvement can happen in as few as 6 sessions.
My rooms are private and comfortable or we can meet online or over the telephone

My first session
A very short time will be spent talking about what therapy is (and is not) and the terms and conditions.
Then I will invite you to tell me what is on your mind and what, if anything in particular, you are expecting from Counselling.
There is no obligation to rebook after your session. Some people know straight away if they want to continue but some people need to think about it and that is fine.
