About me and my therapy practice
Hello, my name is Heidi and I am a BACP registered psychotherapeutic counsellor specialising in working with anxiety, depression, bereavement and loss, low self esteem and relationship issues.
Is to offer a warm, confidential, safe space for us to work with any issues or difficulties you bring. I will listen without judgement, working alongside you in the context of a supportive, collaborative relationship. You are free to discuss whatever feels important, whenever you feel ready and able to do so.
How I work
In counselling, as in life, one size does not fit all. Working as an integrative counsellor allows me to draw on different counselling approaches to best suit your individual needs. You are at the heart of the process. My role is not to give advice but to safely support you in working towards positive change.
How can counselling help?
Life can sometimes present challenges that may leave us feeling overwhelmed. Whilst family and friends can sometimes be a good source of support. Most often people find it helpful to talk to a professional counsellor, who is not personally involved.
Developing a greater self awareness can enable you to make sense of what's troubling you. With insight, comes an opportunity to make positive changes in your life, or to simply accept what is.
