About me and my therapy practice
Hello and welcome. Thank you for choosing to view my profile. I know that taking the first step into finding a therapist can be daunting scary and sometimes confusing! so,if you any questions at all please feel free to contact me.
I am a qualified and registered counsellor with the British association for counselling and psychotherapy (BACP). This means that my training and experience has been throughly checked and regularly reviewed with the leading professional organisation in counselling and therapy. I follow their ethical framework to ensure your health and safety are always my priority.
My practice is trauma-informed and fully inclusive to all.
I use an integrative approach to therapy, blending various therapeutic concepts and techniques to provide you with therapy that is specifically designed and tailored to suit you.
I can help you to explore your thoughts and feelings in a safe way, free from any judgement or shame. I will listen with genuine empathy compassion and care.
I can support you with issues such as depression, anxiety, bereavement, mental illness, trauma, abuse, addiction and stress.
Practice description
I have worked as a counsellor in range of different settings such as schools, prisons, bereavement organisations, domestic and sexual abuse charities and mental health support.
I can help with bereavement, loss, anxiety, depression, stress, addictions, relationship problems, trauma, anger, sexual abuse domestic abuse and mental illnesses. My practice is trauma informed and fully inclusive to all.
I will help you to understand feelings, explore emotions, process experiences and make the changes needed to be free to life that want to live.
My practice in based in Churwell, near Morley (LS27).It is very easily accessible from the M62, M621 and M1 motorways. You can decide whether you would like our sessions to be in person or remotely, online or by telephone.
I have a quiet and peaceful therapy room. There is free parking wheelchair access and toilet facilities available.
