About me and my therapy practice
I am an accredited integrative counsellor and registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
I work in my own private practice based in Orpington. I also work in a local counselling organisation. I have experience working with the NHS - Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) Patients, Addictions and the homeless.
I work with both long term and short term clients covering a wide range of mental health problems including Anxiety, depression, loss, addiction, stress, bereavement.
Talking therapy will give you the space to explore your feelings in a confidential, safe and non judgemental setting.
The therapeutic relationship that we share together on your journey is also extremely important. I hope you experience me as a warm, empathic and genuine person and feel comfortable in the knowledge that all that you share is private and confidential.
My first session
I offer an initial consultation before counselling begins. I will ask you a few questions , talk to you about the way in which I work and if it will suit you, and your reasons for seeking help.
We can then decide if we are both happy to work together.
