About me and my therapy practice
My name is Claire and I'm a humanistic, trauma informed and women-centred counsellor, based in Peterlee, County Durham. I work one-to-one with adults, both in person and remotely, via telephone and internet.
Along side my private practice, I have worked in the voluntary sector for over fifteen years and have experience of working with a number of issues such as depression, trauma, bereavement, anxiety and self-development. I have a particular interest in women's issues, domestic abuse, sexual violence, trauma and loss. My practice is relational and mindful and I’m an LGBTQ+ allied therapist.

I offer a free, no obligation initial session via telephone, for us to get to know each other a little and see if we feel we are a good fit to work together.
