About me and my therapy practice
I’m an integrative therapist based in Northampton. I offer assessment, counselling and psychological therapy to individuals, parents and carers, working with both children and adults. My work aims to support people to better understand and cope with difficulties they may be experiencing, to improve psychological wellbeing and quality of life.
I also work in a psychosensory way which can include some body work alongside the talking therapy. This can be explained in our first session so you can decide if it is an approach you feel you would benefit from. The body and mind are linked intrinsically and so sometimes working with both can be very effective.
I am also trained in mindfulness and this can be a very beneficial way to help many difficulties.

• Trauma, including Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)

• Self/personal development
• Behavioural difficulties and challenging behaviour
Types of therapy
I’m trained in a number of different types of psychological therapy and will work with you to understand your goals and what therapy you feel will best fit for you and your needs. Therapies I offer and models I draw upon include:
• Trauma focused Cognitive Behaviour Therapy
• Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
• Behavioural approaches (including Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) for behavioural difficulties and challenging behaviour)

• Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
• See Far CBT (psychosensory approach to trauma)
I offer a free initial telephone consultation in order to ascertain your needs and help you decide if you would like to work with me. After our first session I can give you an idea of how many sessions might be useful for your individual needs.
I also offer concessionary rates at my discretion.
Fees are set at £80 per 50-minute session for assessment and treatment. Frequency of session can be either weekly or fortnightly to accommodate need and assist with managing the cost of therapy.
Work is goal-focused and therapy options will be discussed at initial assessment to think about what therapy best fits not only your goals, but also your budget. Different therapies tend to require different number of sessions which also impacts on overall cost and can be discussed at initial assessment. There is no obligation to continue work following initial assessment if you do not feel it is a fit for you.
