We will look to arrange a mutually suitable time for our sessions. Early morning and evening sessions may be offered, subject to availability.
About me and my therapy practice
Life can sometimes feel so difficult to navigate. You may have a real need to be heard, for a reliable other to be there with you at this time, to help you make sense of where you are, so you can begin to move towards a healthier state of mind.
I am a qualified, experienced and attentive therapist, an Accredited Member of the BACP, registered with The British Psychoanalytic Council. I am focussed on being with you where you are and together, over time, we will begin to develop an understanding of what has brought you to this moment and start to work towards a healthier future.
I see individual adults who may be struggling to cope with long term issues, traumatic events or new difficulties that have emerged in their lives. Others are searching to understand themselves and their relationships better; they may be yearning for a more authentic and fulfilling experience of life.
The therapy I offer is usually long term open ended work, once or twice weekly and is usually conducted face to face. In specific circumstances short term work may be considered appropriate.
During the time of the Pandemic, I am conducting sessions via video conference call using Zoom.
You are welcome to visit my website, at www.ejaffecounselling.co.uk, for more information about how I work.
My private practice is based in Mill Hill, NW7, easily accessible by public transport and car, with parking available. My consulting room is on the ground floor.
I provide a comfortable, confidential setting where the issues or aspects of yourself you are struggling with, have space to emerge, and we can think about them together in the light of your unique personal history.
My first session
Following your initial contact, we will have a brief conversation by telephone and if appropriate, we will set up an initial meeting during which we will begin to develop a sense of whether working together feels right. We may decide to meet again before deciding whether to proceed with weekly sessions. I will take you through the practical details and we will take it from there.
In the first instance, you are welcome to contact me by email or telephone. I look forward to hearing from you.
