About me and my therapy practice
Are you struggling with bereavement, loss, relationship problems, stress or anxiety? Do you or does someone you care about have Autism or Aspergers (diagnosed or not)?
I have experience working with the bereaved at any age through volunteering with The Bereavement Counselling Charity. I also worked with young adults (18-25) for 2 years at the University of Portsmouth Student Wellbeing Service.
Through personal experience and work with clients I have a good understanding of some of the issues faced by those on the Autistic Spectrum (who currently represent a third of my client base).
I can help by providing a safe, non-judgemental and confidential space to explore your feelings.
I work in a person-centred way, accepting and valuing you, seeing your world as you experience it. I will be honest and transparent about how I experience you and will help you explore whatever issues you bring to our session, promoting greater self awareness and helping you reach your potential. I can also help support and normalise your grief and loss.
Please reach out by email, telephone or text to book a free 15 minute phone or Zoom chat so we can get to know each other a little better and decide if we could work together.
I am offering socially distanced counselling in South East Hampshire with COVID risks mitigated as far as possible. I also provide counselling online via Zoom and over the telephone.
