About me and my therapy practice
Are you struggling with bereavement, loss, relationship problems, stress or anxiety? Do you or someone you care about have a diagnosis of Autism or Aspergers?
I have experience working with the bereaved at any age through volunteering with The Bereavement Counselling Charity. I am also currently counselling young adults (18-25) at the University of Portsmouth Student Wellbeing Service.
Through personal experience and work with young clients I have a good understanding of some of the issues faced by those on the Autistic Spectrum.
I can help by providing a safe, non-judgemental and confidential space to explore your feelings.
I work in a person-centred way, accepting and valuing you, seeing your world as you experience it. I will be honest and transparent about how I experience you and will help you explore whatever issues you bring to our session, promoting greater self awareness and helping you reach your potential. I can also help support and normalise your grief and loss.
I'd be happy to hear from you by email, telephone or text to discuss if we could work together.
I'm currently counselling online via Zoom or over the telephone and am working on creating a safe space for counselling in person in 2021 when restrictions allow.
