About me and my therapy practice
I am an experienced counsellor and psychotherapist with 20 years of practice. I originally trained in Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy with the University of Oxford, and have added other trainings over the years, including in Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT), CBT, humanistic, trauma informed. I am BACP and UKCP registered. I take an integrative approach to therapy which I tailor to my different clients needs.
I offer a calm confidential and non-judgmental space in which you can feel safe to explore your issues.
My background is in adult mental health. I worked in the NHS for 12 years in secondary care, including in psychotherapy outpatients and with complex needs. I also have 10 years experience working with international university students, working for an Employment Assistance Programme (EAP) and in private practice in Harley Street for many years.
I like to work in a holistic way, recognizing clients in mind, body and spirit. I will invite you to develop your inner witness so that you can see the different aspects of yourself and your difficulties with compassion. When we approach ourselves in this way we are more able to reconnect with our true selves and experience healing.
I am also trained in energy healing and Kundalini yoga for those who are energy sensitive or on a spiritual path and feel they would benefit from this kind of support.
Sessions are weekly or fortnightly and last for 50 minutes. I offer long, medium and short term therapy.
All sessions are face to face or online via Zoom.
Price is £130 per session.
