About me and my therapy practice
I am an integrative therapist, meaning that I work flexibly with each person to suit their needs. I can help deal with anxiety, depression, abuse, addiction, bereavement and many other issues. While some people may prefer to work in a solution-focused way to address an immediate concern others might be seeking a deeper understanding of themselves and their past.
My way of working is based on our relationship, rather than any specific theoretical model. It is through our relationship that we explore your experience, your feelings, needs and wants in a non-judgemental, contained space. Through our work together it is my hope that clients develop a better understanding of themselves and leave with an increased level of confidence that comes from acceptance.
I began training in the field of psychology and psychotherapy since 2014 having completed a BSc in psychology and counselling and an MSc in therapeutic counselling in London. I also train psychotherapists on MSc level and teach counselling at undergraduate level at a London university.
Throughout my practice I have gained extensive experience relating to anxiety, depression, family issues, and relationship problems. I can also help with a sense of direction in life and a deeper understanding of yourself.
My first session
The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other better and for me to gain a deeper understanding of what it is that brings you to therapy at this time. At the end of the initial meeting we agree whether and how we will work together.
