About me and my therapy practice
I'm a person cantered therapist with over 10 years experience in a number of settings with specialist knowledge in addictions, domestic violence , co-dependency, play therapy, counselling in the workplace, anxiety and depression.
My aim is to create a safe. comfortable and confidential space for you to explore what it is you want to work on or through. Life is never straight forward and never predictable from one moment to the next and this can be challenging depending on your foundations , the recent pandemic has shown us all this . Through challenge and change and building resilience we can grow and have fulfilling lives, Learn to live and not just survive the storm.
So If you want a listening ear, a space to challenge your thoughts unhelpful or repetitive behavioural patterns , I will walk beside you on your journey.
I'm a person centred therapist with an integrative approach , bringing together my experience as a Counsellor, Mindfulness Teacher ,Yoga teacher and body work therapist. I've got over 15 years experience within the wellness field both in corporate, private and community settings.
I provide open ended therapy as well as short term therapy., I have a blended approach using person centred therapy with Mindfulness based stress reduction , mindfulness based behavioural therapy and teach clients to learn practical tools to manage their emotions anxieties and support their wellbeing.
I'm a trained as a mental health first Aider , Critical incident debriefing ,,reflective practice practitioner. Anxiety management practitioner
My first session
Before we meet we can organise to have a chat via zoom or telephone and see if we connect and establish if you feel comfortable and discover if I'm the best fit for your needs, We are all different and feel its important to feel comfortable. If we establish you want to book, your initial session in which will be 50 minutes, where we will focus and agree with what you want to work on moving forward.
