About me and my therapy practice
I am trained as a Gestalt psychotherapist working mainly with your present experience. My trauma informed relational approach will aim to utilise your own agency and form a safe space to explore your issues creatively. I aim to accompany you on a journey to identify your potential and build emotional support to navigate change effectively with a view to growth and spontaneity.
Most clients seek assistance when feeling stuck in life - hitting a wall, or have a wakeup call such as bereavement, loss of a job, relationship, health scare, addiction or other traumatic experience. Therapy can work to untangle confusion and I offer a supportive joint exploration to find meaning or what is really important. From a safe space in the here and now, we can work with facing deep emotions and desires with a view to exploring how you prevent yourself from achieving your potential. Our investigations into how experience gets interpreted can reveal a more realistic outlook.
With an objective to understand how to be responsive rather than reactive and achieve a deeper sense of satisfaction and completion, we will work to enhance the way you currently support yourself in order to increase your sense of personal growth.
My first session
Our first session will be an opportunity to investigate how we might work together and establish how we both feel about entering into a productive working relationship.
