About me and my therapy practice
I am a passionate and dedicated counsellor with a strong commitment to helping individuals overcome their challenges and achieve their full potential. With a number of years experience in the field of counselling, I have developed a deep understanding and empathy for the struggles that people face in their daily lives.
My approach to counselling is client-centred, meaning that I believe in creating a safe and non-judgmental space for individuals to explore their thoughts, feelings, and concerns. Through active listening and genuine empathy, I work collaboratively with clients to identify and address the root causes of their challenges, helping them develop effective coping strategies and achieve long-term healing and growth.
I have experience working with a diverse range of clients, including individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and life transitions. I utilise a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR), tailoring the approach to meet the unique needs and goals of each individual.
In addition to my professional qualifications, I believe in the importance of ongoing growth and learning. I regularly attend workshops, conferences, and training seminars to stay updated on the latest research and advancements in the field of counselling. This allows me to incorporate new tools and techniques into my practice, ensuring that my clients receive the highest quality of care.
I strongly believe that everyone has the potential to create positive change in their lives, and I am deeply committed to supporting individuals on their journey towards self-discovery and personal development. I feel privileged to be a part of their growth and transformation, and I look forward to helping you overcome your challenges and achieve your goals.
Practice description
In my practice, I work with pre-teens, teens, adults and couples. I offer both short term and long term therapy and together we will review your progress at regular intervals.
I offer talking therapies as well as life coaching and business coaching.
Our sessions will last for 50 minutes and will occur on a weekly basis. I am able to offer flexible days and times each week for those working shift work.
To ensure our work together is productive, we will together have regular reviews. However, I also recognise the benefit of ad-hoc reviews if required.
I love to be creative and will often bring this into the therapy room if my clients want to experience how creativity can break through man made barriers which impact our ability to process what is happening around us.

About me and my therapy practice
I am a qualified and experienced supervisor, offering a safe, supportive, and reflective space for therapists to explore their practice. With a person-centered and integrative approach, my supervision is grounded in collaboration and tailored to meet the unique needs of each supervisee.
My practice is informed by the 7-Eyed Model of Supervision, which allows for a holistic exploration of the therapeutic relationship, the client’s process, and the wider systemic context.
I specialise in trauma, including childhood trauma, relationship trauma, abuse, and PTSD, and bring a trauma-informed perspective to supervision. I also have expertise in working with neurodivergent individuals, enabling me to support therapists working with diverse client populations.
Practice description
In addition to in-person supervision, I am qualified in online and telephone counselling, offering flexibility for therapists working across various modalities.
I have extensive experience working with children, young people, and adults, and I am passionate about helping therapists develop confidence and competence in their work with different client groups.
Whether you are newly qualified or an experienced practitioner, my supervision aims to foster growth, ethical practice, and self-care, ensuring you feel supported and empowered in your professional journey.
I offer reduced rates for students and for qualified therapists with a small caseload. Please contact me for further information.
I am committed to fostering a supportive and ethical supervisory relationship, helping supervisees develop confidence, self-awareness, and clinical effectiveness.
I have a background in the NHS as a Nurse and Midwife and extensive experience of leadership incorporating supervision within those roles. I am also a qualified Coach and have worked at a large University supporting both staff and students.
Whilst I am acquiring my hours I charge a reduced rate.
Contact me to discuss how we can work together.
