About me and my therapy practice
Hello and warm welcome to my page.
I am trained and practice Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counselling. I aim to work according to your need and with what will benefit you more as an individual when working with you. I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
I work with adults and young adults looking for support managing stress, anxiety, depression, generalised anxiety, social anxiety, feeling sad, relationship issues, work stress, emotional dysregulation, and anger amongst others.
RELATIONSHIPS: I work with couples and individuals struggling in their relationship.
I provide counselling support committed to listen, hear you, and support you to reach and achieve a better manageable emotional and mental wellbeing.
My integrative therapy approach is provided in a safe, accepting, and non-judgemental environment; and is tailored and aimed to meet your unique individual need. A therapy that genuinely is about you.
I value and accept you as a person without judgement and will create a nurturing space for you to explore the difficulties you are facing and to find healing and personal growth.
I work both in-person, online and telephone
Online session has many advantages, especially with health or mobility, and Covid-19 concerns.
Choosing to have online sessions gives you great flexibility and option to have your session in your most convenient and comfortable environment and saves you from travelling and travel cost.
Choosing online sessions also means distance is not an issue. you can have your sessions from any part of the nation.
Online sessions may also help you feel more safe if you are concerned about Covid-19, or if your mobility is limited.
My online work is provided via Teams, Zoom and Telephone.
My first session
It can be daunting to embark on counselling journey when you don't know what to expect, especially if it is your first-time seeking therapy. Even if you have had counselling before, it can still feel uncertain when selecting a new counsellor.
At the initial session, we will discuss your concerns you are bringing to counselling. This first session will help us both discuss how we will work together and helps start our trusting and understanding counselling relationship which will help us work better together should you wish to continue.
