About me and my therapy practice

I work Humanistically as a Person Centred counsellor

This means:

I will respect your feeling and thoughts.

I am non-directive in my approach.

I am here to listen and allow you to talk in an enviroment that you feel safe in allowing you time to reflect.

We will work together in allowing you to figure out what is going on for you, giving you the autonomy to know what is right for you and what works for you .

Practice description

I work with young adults ages 11yrs to 18yrs and have done for the last 2yrs .

I also work with adults suffering with Servere Trauma, Anxiety, Depression and Bereavement

I have worked with some addiction in a homeless shelter during my training , Drink and substance abuse.

My first session

My first session will be an introduction of myself and how I work

An assesement of clients needs and any risk

A contract that I will explain and that we both agree to.
