About me and my therapy practice
Life isn’t easy and sometimes it can be overwhelming. You may be struggling to cope. Seeking help to explore your difficulties is a courageous step, but can be daunting.
I aim to provide a warm, non-judgemental and honest confidential space, in which to explore the challenges you are facing. I am an integrative counsellor, meaning that I combine different theoretical approaches to suit your needs and pace.
I often work with clients who are suffering from depression and anxiety.
Having worked in complementary health for many years, I have a deep interest in how emotional stress and trauma may be held in the body, sometimes manifesting as chronic pain.
I comply with GDPR legislation and any data you provide is stored securely.
My consulting room is based in Camden Town in a well established women's centre.
I offer 50 minute face to face sessions, available to those that identify as women.
The centre is a 5 minute walk from Camden Town tube or Camden Road rail station, with numerous bus links. A ramp and lift are available if needed.
I also offer 50 minute online sessions, available to all genders.
My first session
I offer a 10 minute telephone session in order to understand what has brought you to counselling and why now?
If we decide it is right to meet, I will offer you an appointment for an assessment session which will last for 50 minutes, charged at the agreed rate. It's an opportunity for us to see if we can work together and for you to ask questions.
