About me and my therapy practice
Are you struggling to navigate through these challenging times? Feeling anxious, depressed, out of control, at a cross-roads in your life, relationship problems or simply out of sorts and need someone to talk to.
Are you coming to terms with a loss, be it through bereavement, job, friends, lifestyle, partner, finances? I am here to listen and help you unravel the issues that are holding you back from living your life the way that you want to.
Counselling can seem daunting and it takes courage and a willingness to change to make those first steps. The outcome can be life changing.
I am here to listen and be your companion in helping you to unravel the issues that are holding you back from living a more fulfilling life.
I am a Person Centred Counsellor and the main aim is for my clients to work towards living their lives the way that they want to.
Our relationship will be based on trust, honesty and respect and this will allow therapeutic growth to take place.
Providing a safe space for my clients to fully open up and feel comfortable is of the utmost importance as this is how therapy flourishes and clients become more in control of their lives.
Menopause is my specialism and I can help to navigate through these often challenging time in a women’s life.
My first session
The first counselling session will allow us to get to know one another. The therapeutic relationship is very important for personal growth and for therapy to be productive. I will also carry out an assessment to gain more information.
We will also discuss what has brought you to therapy and begin your journey to living a more fulfilling life.
At present I can offer telephone, zoom or walk and talk counselling (in the M20 area)
