About me and my therapy practice
I am an experienced psychotherapist based in East London.
My psychotherapeutic approach is informed by the traditions of existential philosophy and Zen practice which both see life itself as relational and dynamic. Both recognise impermanence, change, uncertainty, suffering, anxiety and death to be an inevitable part of our every day lives. The challenge of authentic living is to confront and find meaning within these existential givens, as opposed to avoiding, or denying, them. Psychotherapy provides a unique opportunity to do this. I invite clients to pay close attention to their experiences; we work collaboratively in clarifying and reflecting upon their situations in order to gain deeper insight and awareness into how they might choose to live with greater meaning and connection to themselves and to others.
