About me and my therapy practiceCounselling is useful for a variety of situations. If you are dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, work or relationship issues, domestic violence, bereavement, addiction or any other difficulties affecting your life, I provide the opportunity to talk openly and honestly in a safe and confidential setting. I use a Person Centred Approach which is non directive and non judgemental and encourages you to explore your problems, empowering you to seek the most suitable way for you to move forward with your life. By doing so you may recognise how past experiences are still affecting your life and your relationships today. My aim is to provide a warm, empathic, safe and caring environment and build a trusting relationship which will allow you to explore these issues and identify any effective changes you may wish to make in your life. I will not give advice or tell you what to do. Any choices, changes or decisions will be yours.
I also work with couples who are having difficulties within their relationship. By helping you to identify areas of conflict and explore these issues I will be able to support you in making any necessary changes.
