About me and my therapy practice
Counselling offers an opportunity to explore your thoughts and feelings in a confidential, safe and non-judgmental environment. Free of anyone else’s agendas or expectations, you can gain a better understanding of yourself both as an individual and in relation to others.
My role as your therapist is to make this environment possible for you - by listening, supporting and encouraging you, but also by noticing and challenging patterns of behaviour or ways of thinking that may not/no longer be serving you.
My approach is integrative in that I use theories from several schools of thought to adapt the counselling to suit your needs and your reason for coming to therapy.
