About me and my therapy practice
In light of the current crisis, and the measures I have decided to take to limit the spread of the virus, I am not able to take on new clients at this time. I understand that this may be the exact time that we are all needing more support. I will review this periodically as the situation unfolds.
Counselling can offer genuine help and support if you are struggling with difficult experiences or emotions. I approach each counselling relationship with warmth, openness and humour. I hope that when we meet you will feel welcomed and enabled to tell your story.
I will listen empathically to what you have to say, and help to guide you through the counselling process. I am an integrative counsellor, meaning that I draw upon ideas from several different theories to inform my understanding and to support you as an individual.
It is through both better understanding of yourself and the supportive therapeutic relationship that real change is made possible. Counselling can offer you a space to be heard and listened to, to find new ways of approaching your life and to feel like you can be more fully yourself in the outside world.
