At the moment I am offering counselling appointments in person on Monday and Tuesday evenings and Thursday afternoons & evenings. I also offer appointments via video call or by telephone weekdays and evenings -whatever you feel most comfortable with. I offer a free initial 20 minute telephone consultation in which you can outline your situation and see if we are a good fit and I can also answer any questions you may have.
About me and my therapy practice
I am a Person Centred Counsellor based in central Edinburgh. I provide a safe, non-judgemental private space for you to feel comfortable to explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviours.
Through respect and trust, together we can explore your life situation and establish your desired goals towards a brighter future. I understand that committing to therapy takes courage. By seeking counselling you have already taken the first step towards change.
My role is to help guide you and support you through those times that you may struggle to see the way ahead. My style is relaxed, warm and gentle. I have over ten years experience in Cancer Support for people of all ages, but I also help clients with many other issues such as bereavement, trauma, anxiety, low self esteem and depression. I offer long and short-term therapy and also work with past and present issues, depending on your needs.
I would love the opportunity to work with you, as talking within a safe therapeutic relationship can be a life changing, healing process.
