About me and my therapy practice
I am a BACP registered counsellor offering short-term and long-term counselling for adults. My style of working is essentially a person-centred approach, guided by and tailored to the individual. Where appropriate, this can include drawing on my training in and knowledge of other therapeutic understandings and techniques.
I have experience in working with problems relating to depression, anxiety, work-related stress, bereavement, life transitions, anger, relationship issues, low self-confidence, and the after-effects of abuse and violence, among other issues.
My initial aim in counselling is to assist clients in arriving at a better understanding of their problems, their life situations, and themselves. Beyond this, I provide support and encouragement in making more fulfilling life choices and making any changes which are desired.
My fee is £45 per 50-minute session, with a limited number of spaces available at £25 for clients on a low income.
If you have any questions or if you'd like to arrange an initial meeting, please get in touch by phone, email, or through the website.
