About me and my therapy practice
I am an integrative therapist and draw upon different approaches to intervention based on my clients needs. I am an EMDR Europe accredited therapist, which means I have been validated by the EMDR Association to deliver this type of therapy, which is recommended for treatment of trauma under the NICE guidelines. It has been shown as being successful in the treatment of many other presentations such as depression, anxiety, complex grief, eating disorders and many more. I also use a somatic experiencing, another trauma focussed approach to help relieve psychological distress.
I work with the needs of the client and take some time to build trust and assess your situation before embarking on EMDR. The client is always in control. I work in an integrative way, so will also bring other types of therapeutic approaches into the work.
I practice ‘in person’ or virtually, the choice is yours. I have a comfortable practice room at my home in Shenfield, it is easily accessible by car or by public transport.
I’m friendly and ensure I give a good service to all my clients. I have found EMDR to be most effective for healing and am passionate in this approach. Please do get in touch.
