Hi I'm Sharon

Emotional pain—whether from a single life-altering moment or the quiet build-up over years— can leave an imprint.

You may feel burnt out, overwhelmed, or stuck in patterns of self-criticism, procrastination, people-pleasing or perfectionism. Tired of shrinking yourself to fit spaces that never truly saw you.

This isn’t failure; it’s a signal and invitation for care and healing.

Together, we can create a safe space to help you reconnect with yourself, feel more grounded, better understand your experiences and move towards healthier relationships and a life that feels more aligned with who you truly are.

With over 19 years’ experience—including 10 years in the NHS as a High Intensity Therapist and Supervisor, specialising in Counselling for Depression (PCE-CfD) —I offer client-led, trauma-informed therapy with Brainspotting, a gentle yet powerful approach that helps calm the nervous system and release what’s been held for too long.

"Brainspotting made a massive difference to my counselling experience and took it to a completely different level"

Practice description

Trauma impacts us body, mind and spirit, so when life hits hard, talk therapy alone may not feel like enough. This is why I offer body-mind focused sessions.

Brainspotting—an intuitive, gentle, body-mind focused approach helps us to process trauma and emotional overwhelm at a deeper level.

Rooted in mindfulness, Brainspotting supports your nervous system to release what’s stuck—not by reliving the pain, but by helping it shift.

I work well with individuals who:

  • Are heart-led and often the ones others rely on, while quietly carrying a lot themselves
  • Have tried talking therapy but found it didn’t create lasting change
  • Struggle with overthinking, people-pleasing, perfectionism, or procrastination
  • Feel stuck, anxious, on edge—or numb, disconnected, and exhausted
  • Walk on eggshells around others or feel like a shadow of their former self
  • Feel unseen, unheard, or not “enough”
  • Tend to push through quietly, without asking for support
  • Have experienced painful or confusing relationships and are trying to make sense of them
  • Sense that past experiences still affect their present life
  • Appear outwardly capable or successful, but long to feel safe enough to show up for themselves
  • Are curious, creative, and want to understand themselves more deeply
  • Sense that emotional pain is held in the body, emotions, thoughts and nervous system
  • Want more than just coping—they’re seeking a greater capacity for joy, deeper meaning in their life, and authentic connection
  • Are open to exploring body-mind approaches to feel more whole and truly themselves

Healing isn’t about fixing you—you’re not broken. It’s about creating space for the parts of you that haven’t been seen, heard, or held—so you can begin to heal unseen wounds, release what no longer serves you and reconnect with who you truly are.

My first session

Free-of-charge Clarity Call

  • The clarity call is a free-of-charge phone call that lasts approx 20 minutes. This is for us to talk about what you are experiencing, what you need and if sessions with me may be helpful for you.

  • If we decide that we are a potential match in terms of your needs, I will invite you to book a full initial consultation via Zoom.

Full Initial Consultation

  • The full initial consultation is 50 minutes long and is held via Zoom video, allowing us to explore in more detail and establish an initial focus for our work together. There is no obligation to book further sessions.

  • If you do decide to continue with therapy, I offer either 90-minute or 50-minute sessions, depending upon your preference and needs. If you are unsure which would suit you best, we will discuss this together, to help you decide.

You really do deserve to be living with purpose and a greater capacity for joy...a part of you likely already knows this if you are reading  this page, and I welcome your enquiry.

Warmly

Sharon
