About me and my therapy practiceI am an integrative practitioner, working online from Bristol. I draw on a variety of different approaches and schools of thought to offer individually tailored psychological support.
As humans, our experience is a varied one - and sometimes we may be full of stress or conflicted emotions. At times we may have a sense of dissatisfaction, or a lack of fulfillment.
I believe that through talking therapies, we can begin to understand the processes and patterns at work in our lives. It is through this awareness that we give ourselves options, the power to change, to grow, and the opportunity to accept ourselves with greater compassion.
In the current climate of anxiety, apprehension and lack of decisive guidance, it might be that you find yourself feeling more fearful and isolated. Although I usually offer face-to-face sessions I have an online practice using a secure web cam service, and can also provide telephone sessions if this is preferable for you. Do reach out if you require support.
My first session
In our first session I generally suggest we have a bit of a chat about what brings you to therapy and what is going on in your life at the moment.
We then might talk about how we could work together moving forwards. At this point I might give you a bit more information about me and my practice if this is something that interests you.
It's really important that you have a think and 'check in' with yourself before moving forwards and booking more sessions. Some people know straight away, some people like to sleep on it - it's very much up to you.
