About me and my therapy practice
Available during COVID-19: I do my very best to bring positive change for every client I work with. Therapy can be daunting. I welcome you to call me for a free 20min enquiry to discuss your difficulties, support you and answer your questions.
I have an established professional career spanning many years and have won awards for my work supporting health and wellbeing in NHS commissioned services, and privately via ONE MIND (see website).
- Your difficulties are valid, important and deserve support
- Change can happen and things can get better
I have delivered over a thousand sessions of therapy and mindfulness to people from all walks of life, all over the world.
The most common feedback I receive from people I work with is that I am:
- Genuine and authentic
- Patient and kind
- Relateable and offer ‘real-world’ support
This is because I work from the following principles
1.TRUST
The bedrock of any therapy is formed by providing trust. Without trust therapy is unsuccessful.
2. RESPECT
Every person is born unique and their individuality deserves not just be acknowledged but encouraged.
3. KINDNESS
The act of being unconditionally caring puts your needs first by being completely in your corner without an agenda.
4. CALM
Cultivating calm helps us all feel safe and helps us work with suffering creatively. Calm is not passive but allows us to challenge the difficulties we face. It’s also a welcome respite from pain.
