About me and my therapy practice

At times life can be really difficult - you might be looking to make some changes, are struggling to cope or would like to understand yourself a little better. Talking to a counsellor gives you a space to safely explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences in a relationship that allows you to do that without judgement or advice.

I offer a warm, collaborative and empathetic approach to support you with whatever you are struggling with. Together we might look at something you have been holding for a long time, or explore new and unexpected feelings and emotions. Whatever brings you to counselling, I offer a supportive and non-judgemental therapy space to be yourself in.

I am a professionally trained integrative counsellor with a BSc (Hons) in Therapeutic Counselling and I am currently studying for an MSc in Mental Health. As a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) I abide by their ethical framework. I work with adults and young people over 16 from all backgrounds for 1-1 counselling.

I support clients with a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, bereavement, loneliness, loss of identity, men's mental health and relationship problems. I have considerable experience supporting grief and loss and am an accredited counsellor for baby and infant loss with The Foundation for Infant Loss Training.

I also have experience of establishing and providing external workplace counselling for a variety of local organisations, supporting any issue an employee might be struggling with. Workplace counselling helps to develop open conversations about mental health, as well as environments in which people and business can grow.

My therapy room is on the first floor of the building, and is close  to several car parks and a short walk from Farnham train station.
