About me and my therapy practice
My aim is to help overwhelmed adults who encountered difficulties with grief, low mood and low self-esteem to enable them to enjoy life again, to recognise personal potential and self-empowerment in order to move forward in confidence in all aspects of life.
Sometimes, we reach a point when despite trying to sort out issues for ourselves, to overcome the experiences that life throws at us or to move on with our lives in hope that upsetting feelings will somehow disappear. Yet, we find ourselves numb or empty, easily upset or annoyed struggling to enjoy the life we have. This can affect everything we hold dear: the relationship that we worked so hard for; the work environment and interests that we once enjoyed; or, loss of identity or self-esteem that was unfairly destroyed because of past that we went through. It can be really hard to share our difficulties with someone, and it takes a lot of courage and effort to ask for help. Therefore, finding the right person is so important for you.
I value your courage and respect your first step. My aim is to provide you with a safe and confidential space, away from every day life pressures, where you can breathe fully and concentrate on you. I am committed to being by your side on the journey you need to take and respecting your space and yet being interested in your feelings in a warm, empathic and non-judgemental way. This is where you can begin to find yourself, understand your feelings and move towards your personal acceptance and growth. This, in return, will enhance your relationships and enable you to enjoy life again moving forward with confidence in all aspects of your life.
At the heart of my practice lies therapeutic relationship and collaboration, meaning that we are all unique and our needs are individual. Together, we will tailor our work in a way that works for you and help you to achieve your goal.
My therapy room is situated in Stockport with an easy access to the main Stockport train station, bus links and M60 motorway, also including free car parking facilities.
My first session
If you are interested in working with me, I offer you to meet me in my therapy room for 30 minutes free of charge, so we can both explore what it would be like working together.
