About me and my therapy practice

I provide individual therapy and counselling from my private practice in Notting Hill, with experience in helping adolescents and adults deal with the challenges of modern life.

I have gained a rich and varied experience helping adolescents and adults from diverse backgrounds through my ten years of experience working as a social worker in the NHS and training in Cape Town, South Africa. I have specialised and completed a Masters in Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy at Goldsmiths, University of London working with adolescents and adults.

As a psychotherapist, I have the following areas of experience working with individuals who experience severe mental health difficulties including PTSD, early childhood trauma, depression, drug and alcohol problems and homelessness.

Practice description

My practice offers a kind, caring and safe environment where you can speak openly and honestly to help get to the root of the problems that you may be struggling with.

My goal is to help you gain insight and awareness about yourself, your relationships with others and overall to help you cultivate a healthy sense of purpose, wellbeing and quality of life.

My first session

The therapeutic process may be for a defined length of time at the start but is usually a long-term commitment. I offer individual therapy to adolescents and adults. Sessions are 50 minutes on a weekly basis.

Please email or call to book in for a consultation. This will allow me to understand the reasons you are seeking therapy, gather contact details, personal history and over the period of the session to assess whether we are a good fit to work together. We will then either set a specific period for the therapeutic process, or we will (more usually) leave it open- ended. During the period of therapy, we will have regular review sessions on an approximately six-monthly basis.
