About me and my therapy practice
I am a BACP Accredited Counsellor and have been working for many years with individuals with different problems. I am very passionate about counselling and believe in the importance of individuals getting the right psychological support in order that they can live a full and rewarding life.
I am open and non-judgemental and can provide you with an environment to help you find the answers to your problems. I believe the therapeutic relationship that i offer can give you the confidence to talk openly about your problems in order that you may gain greater understanding and control of your situation.
During the pandemic, my services moved to an online format. This proved to be very convenient for clients who prefer no commute, carrying out sessions from their own space. If this is something that interests you, I am happy to accommodate.
My service offers both online and face to face options.
There are many reasons why people come to see me including increased feelings of anxiety, depression, anger, feeling lonely or finding it difficult to cope, struggling with personal relationships with others, bereavement, questioning the meaning in life, past traumatic experiences and finding it difficult to adjust to changes in personal circumstances.
I offer both short-term and long-term counselling.
My first session
The first session will be a chance for us to meet each other, either online of face to face, and for you to start the process of telling me what has brought you to counselling. I create a relaxed and informal environment so that you feel comfortable to start the process of working on your problems.
