About me and my therapy practice

I AM CURRENTLY STILL WORKING REMOTELY VIA SKYPE OR TELEPHONE

I am an accredited member of the BACP and work in a private and relaxed setting close to Ipswich, offering sessions to individuals from 15 years and couples. I also offer telephone and Skype sessions.

I am trained as a person-centred Counsellor which is an approach which is gentle, empathic and non-judgmental which puts the client at ease and helps them to feel valued. The process enables the client to understand themselves better and it can be an extremely empowering experience which can help people to grow in confidence.

I have worked with many clients who have experienced different issues who have benefited from Counselling and have been able to make positive changes to their lives. These issues include: Anxiety, depression, self esteem issues, relationship issues, bereavement, abuse and self harm.

If I feel a person would benefit from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy then I offer this type of therapy in  conjunction with Counselling. This can be very beneficial in clients struggling with anxiety, depression and low self esteem.

I offer a reduced price initial session at £20 (Individual sessions only) and this gives the person the chance to see if I am the right person for them to talk to. Then if they are happy to continue, I would see them generally on a weekly basis for as long as the client requires. My fee for individual sessions is £45 and couples is £60.

If you are interested in booking an initial session please feel free to call me to discuss or send me an email.

I offer a reduced rate for student Counsellors at £30 and a limited number of reduced sessions for people who are on a low income.
