About me and my therapy practice
I use an integrative approach with a background in neuroscience that moved into a degree in psychology a Masters in Counselling and Applied Psychotherapy. I have worked within a range of different settings working primarily with depression, anxiety. OCD, ADHD and addiction in a range of different settings including private practice, in drug and alcohol detox, mental health, homelessness, stimulant treatment program and an addiction information phone line.
As an integrative therapist I use psycho-education as a way of explaining what is going on in the mind and how that manifests in emotions and actions. My approach combines this with Motivational Interviewing, Narrative and Person Centered approaches within a non-judgmental perspective ,whereby he explores alternative ways of finding happiness and motivation in life.
