About me and my therapy practice
Hi, I’m Maria, thank you for stopping by to read my profile.
I am a qualified Counsellor, working with adults and young people in the Nuneaton and Coventry areas, with experience of working with a wide range of issues including trauma, abuse, addiction, depression, anxiety, loss and relationship difficulties.
I can offer you a safe, confidential, non-judgemental space in which you can explore your thoughts and feelings while I sit alongside you in your journey of self-exploration. In this hectic world we rarely get the opportunity to give ourselves time out to explore how we are feeling and are often taken over by demands and pressures from the world around us.
Given the right conditions I believe we can all reach our full potential. My approach is to work with you to understand your true self, your needs, your desires and overcome any barriers in your way. For me talking therapy enables us to process our thoughts and feelings, make sense of them and come to a deeper understanding and acceptance of ourselves.
I offer Person-Centred therapy which puts you, the client, at the centre, you are the expert and I will be led by you.
My availability is flexible to suit your needs, whether during the day, evenings or weekends.
I work from Clarity Wellbeing in Nuneaton town centre and at Park Counselling Centre in Coventry, near the train station. Both venues have relaxing, comfortable rooms
