About me and my therapy practice

I offer counselling to young people and adults in both the Brighton and Lewes areas, on a short or long term basis. I provide a relaxed, safe and confidential space in which you are free to be yourself without being judged. I'm interested in helping you to understand what makes you tick and how you can move forward, with greater self-awareness, clarity and choice. I'm down to earth and understand it can be daunting to reach out for help and start talking. I had therapy myself as part of my early training.

I am experienced in working with issues such as anxiety, depression, negative beliefs about yourself, stress and burn-out, low self esteem, loss and bereavement, lack of confidence, coping with change and life transitions, work-related issues, relationships, family difficulties and more.

I offer a limited number of low cost counselling sessions for students and young people (age 16-25). Please enquire if this is appropriate to you.

My training has given me a wide variety of tools and techniques that I can adapt to suit you and your unique situation.

We will first meet for a no obligation introductory session to allow you a chance to ask me any questions you may have and for us to talk about what has brought you to counselling and what you're hoping to get out of it. You can then make a choice if you feel comfortable to book in some sessions. I usually suggest we start by booking six sessions and then review to see how we are getting on.

I look forward to hearing from you.
