About me and my therapy practice
Difficult feelings such as those of distress, anxiousness or depression may be understood as symptoms of a story that hasn't been fully understood or properly heard. My hope for our sessions together would be that we might begin to explore this story. I see this as a collaborative process - with my goal to provide a safe, supportive, confidential environment for our sessions.
Our first meeting would be an opportunity for you to get a feeling for the way in which we might work together - with no pressure to look further ahead than this first session. During our initial meeting it may be helpful for us to discuss any hopes or expectations that you might have for therapy and we might begin to identify the ways in which therapy could be useful for you.
Should you decide you’d like to begin working with me - we can then agree a day and time for weekly meetings. You may well have questions that are not answered above… please don’t hesitate to contact me if you’d like to discuss anything further.
