About me and my therapy practice
Individuals seek therapy for a broad range of reasons, some of which are clear, others less so. Perhaps you have had a major life event that has left you feeling challenged or you’re experiencing a lack of purpose or fulfilment in your life.
I work from in a quiet practice room in Bath, with parking and is accessible by public transport. I am an Integrative, humanistic counsellor working with adults. Working with what you bring to the therapy space, I work predominantly in a person-centred way, but I do consider, with you, how past experiences are impacting you now. I offer both short and long-term work.
You can find more information about how I work on my website - www.alihender.org
Exploring your individual experiences and feelings within the safety of a trusting, professional therapeutic relationship can help you to gain insight into yourself and your relationships with others, and ultimately help you to feel more content. The counselling relationship is collaborative and it’s important that you feel comfortable with me. An initial session will help you establish whether I’m someone you’d like to work with.
My fee per 50 minute session is £46.50. If you are experiencing financial hardship, please ask me about the availability of lower-cost sessions.
Selecting a therapist can be a daunting experience, but making contact can be the first step towards unlocking your potential.
