About me and my therapy practice
Are you trying to work out what is going on in your life? Do you want to change how you are living but don't know how? Are you hurting every day and don't know how to feel better? Perhaps you have lived with that hurt for many years because of things that happened to you a long time ago, or maybe you have just experienced something that has turned your world upside down. Counselling can help you understand yourself and your life better and this can enable you to make changes that make your life happier and more peaceful.
Practice description
It can feel difficult to find adequate help to deal with the consequences of trauma. I can offer a safe and supportive relationship where you can share, at your own pace, the painful things that may feel too hard to talk about to family or friends. I offer a place where you can say anything that you want to knowing I will not judge or reject you.Together, we can find ways for you to move forward.
My first session
I offer an initial session FREE. This is so that we can meet and discuss what you would like from counselling. You can see if you feel comfortable with me and would like to continue without feeling you have made an investment that makes you feel committed.
The session lasts for 40-60 mins. I will give you space to talk about why you have come, and also ask you some questions so I can assess whether I think I can be of help to you.
