About me and my therapy practice
** I have current availability for face to face and online clients**
Hello, I'm Eileen a psychotherapist and nutritionist. You can work with me face to face or online. In addition, I offer walking therapy appointments from some great locations around the Greater Manchester area.
I offer a free initial 30-minute session which is very informal so that we can meet, you can ask any questions you may have and then you can decide what you'd like to do from there.
I think therapy is for people who have the self-awareness to recognise that they need a helping hand and that is something to be applauded. You don't have to be in crisis to come to therapy. With counselling and psychotherapy positive changes in your relationships, work and life in general, can take place, even when those challenges seem overwhelming and distressing.
I offer both short and long term therapy. I work with people experiencing low mood, depression, anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, issues with food and eating, childhood issues, bereavement, anger, and feeling 'stuck' in life. Whatever you may bring you are very welcome.
If you are struggling with issues around food and eating come and work with me. Combining therapy and nutritional support is very effective and I regularly and successfully work with clients who have disordered eating patterns and challenges with weight. I'm a Licensed Practitioner of the Understanding Your Eating Programme the focus of which is emotional eating.
Practice description
You can have an appointment with me face to face, online or we can have a walking therapy session. Some clients do a mix depending on what's going on with their week.
Walking therapy appointments are very popular. They can be face to face where we meet at particular locations in the Greater Manchester area. We can also have a walking therapy appointment by phone. At our initial session, we will discuss how a walking therapy session works and where we will meet.
