About me and my therapy practice
Hello, my name is Elke. I am a qualified integrative BACP Accredited Counsellor and registered with ACC.
In my work, I value that everybody is unique and therefore tailor my approach to address your issues, big or small, which may cause you difficulties or distress. Depending on what you bring and how you would like to improve your experience of life, I use techniques from different approaches like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), person centred, psychodynamic, systemic plus my 3.5 year clinical experience to explore your past or present issues.
This may involve a few brief solution focused sessions or some longer and deeper work.
Counselling is team work and by coming alongside each other and being compassionately curious we can find solutions together. Hence why I aim to provide a warm, trusting and non-judgemental space, so you can feel safe to explore.
I offer a non-binding assessment session where we can get to know each other first. If, for whatever reason, I am not the right match, I will aim to suggest some alternatives.
I am based in London Bridge but also work in East London and am flexible to work in various locations across central London. Currently I offer morning, daytime and evening appointments during the week.
