About me and my therapy practice
At the Beckenham and Bromley Chiropractic Clinic ,I am available Thursday mornings from 9am until 2pm.
Counselling helps us think about what is happening currently in our lives . The way we react to a set of circumstances or problems can be rooted in our past , which then effects how we react to these in the present. My role as a therapist is to listen to your story and to work with you in a supportive and containing way to make sense of what is currently causing you to feel depressed, anxious, stressed or worried.
By validating the importance of your feelings, it enables us to work together within the therapeutic relationship to explore and think about possible ways forward.
I am experienced counsellor and have been counselling for 11 years since I finished my training at Roehampton University.
I work in an integrative and relational way which is informed by both Psychodynamic and Person Centred ways of thinking. This means that it is a non- judgemental ,safe and confidential way of working.
