About me and my therapy practice

My approach to therapy is based on the view that body, soul, spirit are interconnected. I have trained in psychodynamic therapy, integrative therapy and anthroposophic psychotherapy, a bio-psycho-social-spiritual to therapy inspired by the work of Rudolf Steiner. I address most presenting problems including identity and personality issues, complex psychosomatic problems and serious mental health issues. As well as being an experienced therapist with 30 years experience I am also an experienced supervisor. I see clients in London at two venues (near Baker Street and Hammersmith) and Forest Row, East Sussex.

I work with the BACP Code of Ethics.

Practice description

I am passionate about therapy and my practice is informed by research into developing new clinical methods to meet the increasing demands and crises of today's world based on a holistic body, soul, spirit perspective. My research forms part of my work as Associate Professor in Psychotherapy and Counselling at the University of Leeds and have authored (or co-authored) 32 peer-reviewed publications, 10 book chapters and edited 5 books in the field.

I offer clinical supervision as well as therapy.

My first session

1. Either phone or email me

2. We arrange a brief telephone conversation
