About me and my therapy practice
Life can be tough sometimes and it often helps to talk to someone outside of your family or friendship circle. Talking through any concerns (whether they are long-standing or recent) with a fully attentive, understanding and non-judgemental professional can be extremely therapeutic. The experience of being really listened to, understood and reflected back enables us to gain a different perspective and therefore a new understanding of both ourselves and our concerns. I know how scary it is to seek support but counsellors are trained at putting others at their ease and asking the right questions. During our first session we'll work together collaboratively to identify the issues you are facing and establish if and how counselling might benefit you. Together we'll forge a plan but please remember you'll be in control and we'll be going at your pace. I look forward to hearing from you. What I can help with
