About me and my therapy practice
I offer face-to-face counselling therapy is for those facing long-term illnesses, chronic pain, suicidal feelings, bereavement and people who suffer difficult and overwhelming feelings of anxiety, depression, loss and helplessness.
I offer a safe space to be listened to and I work collaboratively with my clients to help support them through difficult times.
As a long-term sufferer of an incurable degenerative autoimmune disease, I understand some of the challenges that life poses. My reasons for getting into counselling were to help support people with their own challenges whatever they may be.
I am a qualified counsellor in Humanistic Counselling based on Transactional Analysis and I am a member of the BACP.
I work as a volunteer counsellor for a local charity and have my own private practice working from my home in a quiet village setting.
