About me and my therapy practice

I offer an empathic space to explore a range of concerns including anger, anxiety, bereavement, childhood issues, depression, health, identity, isolation, loneliness, family, personal development, relationships, sadness, self-esteem, social anxiety, stress, trauma, work-related issues.

I am a qualified counsellor with experience working with adults and young people. I have gained this experience from a range of settings including private practice, voluntary sector, charitable organisations, NHS referrals and within secondary schools.

My core approach to counselling is Humanistic. This approach of counselling emphasises each individual’s potential for growth and fulfilment. It is holistic and creative in unblocking disruptions to psychological health, enabling strength and choice in the ‘here and now'. All within a safe, non-judgemental and confidential environment.

You are welcome to contact me to discuss your situation, or set up a free initial appointment. All sessions last 50 minutes and in the initial session we will be able to meet and explore what has led you to this point and if this type of counselling is a good fit for you. Following this I offer short, long term and open ended counselling.
