About me and my therapy practice
Since lockdown was put in place, I have adapted my service to offer online counselling via zoom or skype, or telephone sessions.
I have worked in counselling and psychotherapy since 2009.
There maybe many reasons why you are looking for extra support - or one reason - no problem is too small. I have worked with a variety of issues which crop up during our lives - anxiety, loss & bereavement, eating disorders, anger, depression, self-harm, friendship issues, relationship and family breakdowns, self-esteem or low confidence - amongst some.
The aim is to help you explore and understand these challenges, hopefully providing you with some useful tools along the way. I work with both young people and adults, and the basis of our work will be to create a safe place, a strong relationship, and being able to trust in the process of exploring whatever it is that is troubling you.
I work Integratively - which means my work incorporates a number of theoretical approaches, depending on the needs and character of the relationship developed with the client.
My main aim is to create a safe and trusting relationship which will facilitate the right environment where my clients can explore what is going on.
