About me and my therapy practice

I have experience of working with anxiety, depression,low self esteem, general sadness, relationship issues ,social anxiety,Stress ,terminal illness,work related issues and have a special interest in supporting people through bereavement, loss, and grief. 

I am a qualified counsellor offering friendly professional support to help you through difficult or troubling times. Whether it is to 'get things off your chest' or simply talk about what is troubling you, it could be a past event or something that happened yesterday structured weekly sessions can often offer a helpful start to rebuild emotional resilience back into your life and improve your overall mental well -being.

I am an integrative practitioner which means I draw on a number of theoretical models to meet your individual needs. I will talk to you about what you would like to gain from counselling and support you to achieve your personal goals.My background is in health, education and social care and I have had experience working with children, young people and adults in both individual and group settings. I have previously worked as a school counsellor supporting pupils and staff and volunteered for a national bereavement charity.I now work run a small private practice near Kimbolton in Cambridgeshire.

Practice description

My private practice is based in a quiet location near Kimbolton ,St Neots in Cambridgeshire. I am able to offer daytime and evening appointments , times are staggered to ensure full discretion. There is free off road parking. My office is on the ground floor. About me and my therapy practice

I am friendly, approachable and work relationally with the goal of offering you a space where you can explore your client work, self care and all aspects of supervision in safety and confidence. I will work collaboratively with you to ensure high standards in client work, support ethical practice and your own peronal development goals whether you are in training or qualified, work for an agency or are in private practice.


 I am an integrative practitioner working from a person centred core and can use CBT, transactional analysis and psychodynamic approaches to meet your individual supervision needs. I often use mindfulness, nature based creative interventions in my client work and these can be incorporated into supervision

I now run a small private practice near St.Neots in Cambridgeshire. I have been Counselling since 2015 and in private practice for 6 years. I previously worked as secondary school counsellor supporting pupils and staff and volunteered for a national bereavement charity. Prior to counselling I worked for many years in social care and education where I have had experience working with children, young people and adults in both individual and group settings.
