About me and my therapy practice
I am a counsellor working with individuals both face-to-face and online, with a psychodynamic focus.
You may be facing personal difficulties which stem directly from life events. Perhaps you are experiencing upset or distress with a less clear connection to your immediate circumstances.
Psychotherapy can open up the possibility of personal change by exploring past experiences and understanding the part they may play in your life at present.
My training and expertise over the last decade includes:
- therapeutic counselling with a psychodynamic focus
- psychological trauma treatment
- therapeutic applications of music and the arts
My first session
I work face-to-face in South Belfast and remotely via Zoom or telephone.
I offer a free initial 15-minute phone consultation, where we look into your reasons for seeking help, and we see how my work could help address these. At the end of this conversation we can schedule a first therapy session.
Sometimes your presenting circumstances and expectations may be better addressed by a service different to what I can offer. If this is the case, I may be able to recommend an alternative.
Sessions last 50 minutes.
